PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a volume hologram recording photosensitive composition which is excellent in refractive index modulation, is free of a volume change before and after photosetting and has excellent polymerization reactivity.

SOLUTION: The volume hologram recording photosensitive composition contains a photocation polymerizable compound having a structure bonded with a fluorine derivative part and an oxetane cyclic part through a spacer part and a photopolymerization initiator.
