PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a wafer for solar cell from warping when it is printed on the rear surface thereof with metal paste of aluminum or the like, and then calcinated and to enhance an acceptability rate by preventing the generation of cracking in a module process.
SOLUTION: In the wafer for solar cell, a back electrode is formed on the side opposite to the light receiving surface and the surface for forming the back electrode is convex before the back electrode is calcinated. The height of the convex surface of the wafer is preferably 1.5%-6% of the longest length of the wafer. The wafer for the solar cell can be prevented from warping due to the heat shrinkage of printed metal paste of aluminum or the like when it is calcinated. Since the wafer for the solar cell can be prevented from being pressed against glass or resin and cracked, the acceptability rate can be enhanced in the module process.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
|
