TONER MANUFACTURING APPARATUS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND TONER MANUFACTURED BY THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toners which prevent problems of photoreceptor filming and cleaning defects from occurring and can maintain stable electrostatic chargeability even under continuous image formation of several hundreds of thousands of sheets or over for a long time under high-temperature and high-humidity environments by the robust toners which do not destroy the orientation of the polar groups on toner particle surfaces and a manufacturing apparatus and manufacturing method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The toner manufacturing apparatus manufactures the toners by agglomerating resin particulates and by forming the toner particles after the particulates undergo the state of a colored particle dispersion. The toner manufacturing apparatus has a centrifugal settling system as a thickening means for thickening the colored particle dispersion by centrifugally settling the particles of the toners contained in the colored particle dispersion. Also, the thickening means has a liquid supplying means for sending the colored particle dispersion continuously or at prescribed periods. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
