GPS POSITIONING TERMINAL AND POSITION MONITORING SYSTEM USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a GPS positioning terminal which is saved in communication cost while transmitting sufficient information to outside to be utilized for a security. SOLUTION: The GPS positioning terminal 1 is composed of a GPS positioning part 11 in which a positional information of a present site is calculated based on GPS signals received from GPS satellites 5a-5c; a radio communication part 12 communicating with a center device 2 via radio base stations 4, mobile communication control station 6, and a communication network 3 by communicating with the radio base stations 4 connected with a communication network 3 via the mobile communication control station 6; a position transmitting part 13 to let the radio communication part 12 transmit positioning information wanted by the GPS positioning part 11 to outside; a positioning state detecting part 14 detects information regarding positioning state; and a control part 10 controls whether let the position transmitting part 13 transmit the positional information or not, based on a detection result of the positioning state detecting part 14.
