PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection-type heating device using a ring heater for uniformly and quickly heating the circumference of a rod member, and miniaturizing a constitution of the entire device. SOLUTION: The ring heater 2 is composed of a ring-shaped infrared ray light-emitting filament and a ring-shaped transparent accommodating pipe for accommodating and holding the filament, and a ring-shaped recessed oval mirror surfacing body 3 is mounted along the ring heater in a state of covering the ring heater. A recessed oval mirror plane 4 is formed on an inner peripheral face approximately over its entire circumferential direction, the light-emitting filament is placed on an outer focal point as one of focal points of the recessed oval mirror surfacing body, the rod member 5 to be heated can be mounted on an inner focal point as the other focal point, the infrared ray emitted from the ring heater is reflected by the recessed oval mirror plane, and its reflected light can be applied to the rod member.
