PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film transport device having improved maintainability of a transport mechanism for transporting light-sensitive film such as heat developing photosensitive material. SOLUTION: The film transport device comprises a placing block 3 constituted so that it holds the light-sensitive film and is movable between a mounting position capable of mounting at least the film to a device body and a transporting position capable of transporting the film, and a transporting section 5 for feeding and transporting at least the uppermost film by engaging with the film on the placing block.
