PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a printing device which appropriately corrects a feed amount. SOLUTION: The printing device has a plurality of printing heads, a movable moving member with the plurality of printing heads, and a feed mechanism for sending a body to be printed. Dots for correcting the feed amount whereby the body to be printed is sent by the feed mechanism are formed on the body to be printed by discharging ink from a predetermined printing head among the plurality of printing heads while the moving member is moved. The predetermined printing head is a printing head that is least affected by vibration caused by the movement of the moving member among the plurality of printing heads. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
