PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable no breakage of a sheet material in press forming. SOLUTION: In the molding method of forming a plurality of molding parts 2 by subjecting a sheet material 1 to press forming, the sheet material 1 is pressed while bringing molding blocks 7 and 8 corresponding to each of the above molding parts 2 close to one point of the sheet material 1 to prevent the generation of tensile force. In this forming, the use of movable molds 3 and 4 slidably provided along guides 11 and 12 of mold bases 5 and 6 passively brings the molding blocks 7 and 8 close to one point on pressing.
