PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a channel surface with a high plane precision of a coating die. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the channel surface of the coating die of claim 1, is characterized in that the channel surface of the coating die is measured at intervals of 5-10 mm vertically and horizontally by a perpendicularity measuring device, the results are displayed as a contour map, and a limit external part is corrected to make a high precision channel surface, and the results of the measurement by the perpendicularity measuring device are inputted into a personal computer and indicated as the contour map.
