摘要 The invention relates to a laser amplifier system comprising a solid element (10) which is thermally coupled to a dissipator (16) and provided with a laser active volume area (24) in which at least one laser active amplification structure (30a, 30b, 30c) made of semi-conductive material is arranged on at least one surface extending at least over a partial area of the surface (26A, 26B, 26C), also comprising a pump radiation source (72) producing a pump radiation field (70) for optically pumping the laser active volume area (24), and an amplifier lens system (60) defining a laser amplifier field penetrating the laser active volume area. In order to ensure that said system operates in an efficient manner, the absorption of pump radiation from the pump radiation field (70) in the laser active amplifier structure (30a, 30b, 30c) is equal to or greater than the absorption of pump radiation by a surrounding structure (34a, 34b, 34c) adjacent to the amplifier structure and the pump radiation field extends in such a manner that it repeatedly passes through the amplifier structure 30a, 30b, 30c).
