COFFERDAM STRUCTURE FOR REPAIRING UNDERWATER STRUCTURE AND WATERPROOF METHOD

PURPOSE: A cofferdam structure for repairing an underwater structure and a waterproof method are provided to secure a safe work place by blocking up gaps over 5 cm formed between the bottom side and a sidewall of the cofferdam and the underwater structure. CONSTITUTION: A cofferdam structure(100) for repairing an underwater structure fixed and mounted to an underwater structure side wall(4) of a breakwater, a dam, or a levee to secure a work place(S) is composed of an arc-shaped main frame(102) having an upside exposed to the air, a lower side placed on a bottom side(2), one side opened toward the side wall, and ends of both sides closely contacted along the side wall; a first shock absorbing bar(110a) disposed to the lower and side ends of the main frame and between the bottom side and the side wall and made from one of synthetic resin, wood, or metal for covering a gap; a first seat(120a) made from synthetic resin to cover the first shock absorbing bar; and a fixing member for contacting and fastening both edges of the first seat to the lower and side end edges of the main frame, the bottom side, and the side wall.
