<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common mode choke coil usable even in a high frequency band. <P>SOLUTION: The common mode choke coil 1 includes a holder 2, a coil section 13 placed on a holder base 10 and a core fixing spring 3. The coil section 13 has a coil 6 obtained by edgewise winding a flat type wire, a substantially U-shaped core 5 and a bobbin 9 in which the core 5 is fitted. The coil section 13 is fixed to the holder 2 via the spring 3. The core 5 is an Mn-Zn ferrite core having high permeability even in the high frequency band in which initial permeability at an ambient temperature (25°C) is 3,000 or higher in 100kHz and 100 or higher in 10MHz. High impedance can be secured even in the high frequency band by a synergistic effect of the edgewise wound coil 6 having small stray capacitance and the Mn-Zn ferrite core having high permeability even in the high frequency band. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
