<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the safety and convenience of electronic commerce. <P>SOLUTION: A registration information provision processing part 26 of an electronic commerce system 10 acquires electronic certificates of users from a communication network, when electronic commerce is transacted between a user computer 12 and a store providing computer 14 via the communication network. A user information storage part 20 stores banking facility registration information as registration information for the users to utilize banking facilities. The registration information provision processing part 26 references the user information storage part 20 when the electronic certificates are acquired, and processes the provision of the banking facility registration information for the electronic certificates corresponding to the users to banking facility computers 18. Thus, the electronic certificates which are safe in use on the network are communicated between the user computer 12 and the store providing computer 14.
