PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for secure transaction control and electronic right protection.

SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus equipped with a computer and the like ensures access or use only by an approved format, and assists maintenance of integrity, availability and/or confidentiality of information. The electronic apparatus like that provides a distributed virtual distribution environment (VDE) capable of implementing a secure chain of processing and controlling in order to control and/or measure or monitor use of electronically stored or spread information. The VDE is used for right protection of various participants in electronic business transaction and other electronic handling or electronically facilitated handling. Distributed and other operation system, environment and architecture each use, for instance, an unauthorized alteration-proofing hardware-based processor, and can establish security at respective nodes. Such kind of technology can be used for supporting overall electronic information distribution using an "electronic highway".
