<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a display mode for a mark displayed together with a map in response to a distance to a present vehicle position to enhance visibility for the mark. <P>SOLUTION: This display is constituted of a present position calculating means 11 for calculating the present position of the present vehicle, a map data storage means 12 stored with a map data, a display mark data storage means 13 for storing a display mark data such as landmarks and buildings displayed on the map, an operation input means 14 for conducting an operation input to a control means 17, a display control means 15 for conducting display control for a display means 16, the display means 16 for displaying the display marks such as the landmarks superposedly on the displayed map, and the control means 17 for selecting the display mode of the display mark in response to the distance between the present vehicle position and a display mark position to be output to the display control means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
