<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data repeater which allows contents of a sequence to be easily changed without performing troublesome setting work or changing work on the protocol simulation device side. <P>SOLUTION: When receiving a packet by a communication port of one network adapter (S301), the data repeater compares the packet with a data processing condition (S302). In the case that the packet does not meet the data processing condition (S302N), the reception packet is transferred to a second network adapter as it is (S303). When the packet meets the data processing condition (S302Y), data contents are processed in accordance with the data processing condition (S304). Specifically, a packet is reassembled again (S305) after rewrite of data and is transferred to the second network adapter, and therefore, the changed packet is transmitted from a communication port of the second network adapter (S306). Thus the data repeater, a data repeating system, and a computer program are obtained which allow contents of desired data to be easily changed without performing troublesome setting work in a protocol simulation device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
