PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output processing apparatus which can output an image in the optimum layout when a breast image by mammography is formed in a heat developable photosensitive material. SOLUTION: The image output processing apparatus works by carrying a heat developable photosensitive material F, forming a latent image on the heat developable photosensitive material, and heating the photosensitive material to develop the latent image so as to form and output a visible image on the photosensitive material. When the image 250a of one breast by mammography is formed in the heat developing photosensitive material, the image position is controlled so as not to dispose the chest wall part 251a of the breast in the front end Fa or the rear end Fb along the carrying direction H of the heat developable photosensitive material.
