PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner having high resistance to mechanical stress and capable of ensuring satisfactory fixability in a wide temperature range and to provide a fixing device capable of suitably applying the toner and an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The toner is used in a fixing device with a fixing roller and a resin component in the toner composed essentially of a polyester resin and a colorant. The polyester resin comprises a block polyester made mainly of a block copolymer and an amorphous polyester having a lower crystallinity than the block polyester. The block polyester has crystalline blocks obtained by condensing a diol component and a dicarboxylic acid component and amorphous blocks having a lower crystallinity than the crystalline blocks.
