PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contents providing system or the like capable of providing a viewer an incentive to view a broadcast program by a broadcasting station apparatus 50 providing contents information to a mobile communication terminal 10 via a television receiver 30. SOLUTION: The broadcasting station apparatus 50 is provided with multiplexed signal transmission sections 53, 54 for transmitting a multiplexed signal resulting from multiplexing broadcast program information with contents information, the television receiver 30 is provided with: demultiplexer section 32 for demultiplexing the broadcast program information and the contents information from the multiplexed signal; a reproduction section 33 for reproducing the broadcast program information; and a transmission section 35 for transmitting the contents information to the mobile communication terminal 10 during reproduction of the broadcast program information, and the mobile communication terminal 10 is provided with reception sections 11, 13 for receiving the contents information during the reproduction of the broadcast program information.
