IMAGING APPARATUS WITH LIGHTING UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus with a lighting unit capable of eliminating the shade accompanying lighting and uniformly illuminating a subject even in the case of a close-up shot in spite of adopting a simple configuration of employing the single lighting unit. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus including at least a lens system with a focal point, an aperture mechanism and a light receiving unit is configured such that a half mirror tilted with respect to an optical path reaching the light receiving unit from the lens system is placed between the lens system and the light receiving unit and the lighting unit is placed on a front face of the half mirror at an azimuth symmetrical to the lens system so that the illumination light reflected in the half mirror is directed to the subject through the lens system. A waste light unit having an absorption means may be annexed to a rear face of the half mirror at an azimuth symmetrical to the light receiving unit and a gradation member for decreasing a light transmission rate of the middle of the lens system more than that of the peripheral parts may be annexed between the lighting unit and the half mirror.
