PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional self-traveling cleaner is expensive because it carries a monitoring camera, and so to enable a user who does not need a monitoring function to buy a cheap self-traveling cleaner without the monitoring function, and enable a user who needs the monitoring function to buy a self-traveling cleaner loaded with a monitoring unit 301. SOLUTION: The monitoring unit equipped with an image input part, a wireless communication part, an image recording part and a battery part in its inside is disposed attachably and detachably to a self-traveling cleaner body.
