<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high-speed development by stably holding liquid developer between a photoreceptor drum and a developing roller while using the developing roller which can give an accurate gap and stabilizing the contact of the liquid developer with a developing part without increasing the size of an apparatus in a liquid developing device. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid developing device is provided with a photoreceptor drum 1 and a developing roller 3 arranged by leaving a specified interval and rotated in the same rotating direction; a space formed on the upstream side of the photoreceptor drum 1 in the rotating direction and having a specified interval; and the developing roller 3 to supply the narrowest part of the space with the liquid developer 6; and a means to adjust the length of a contact part between the liquid developer 6 and the photoreceptor drum 1 in the rotating direction of the photoreceptor drum 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
