<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer a pullback-type safety syringe with a flexible plunger. <P>SOLUTION: The pullback-type safety syringe with the flexible plunger consists of a needle head 40, a needle tube 50, and a piston 60. The needle head is provided with a pullback mechanism in which the needle head is drawn in the needle tube. A piston nose is provided with the flexible plunger 61 and a latching projected section 622 penetrating the plunger, the plunger 61 consisting of a flexible material is deformed and collapsed by pushing a piston 62 in by applying further force when the plunger is at the apex of the injection space of the illustrated needle tube after injection is finished, the latching projected section 622 fitted into its center projects from the plunger nose and is pushed in the latching section of a needle stopper section 43 of a needle seat 42 for setting the needle head to a needle support part 51 to latch, and the needle head can be safely drawn in the needle tube by pulling back the piston in this condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
