PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic operation testing device of an inverter type X-ray high voltage generator, whereby an operation test can be efficiently carried out. SOLUTION: A communication port 11 for normal operation connected to an X-ray apparatus operating table 12, and a communication port 10 for an automatic test connected to an automatic operation testing device 14 are provided in this inverter type X-ray high voltage generator 1. The automatic operation testing device 14 is equipped with a test operation defining means 24 to define test operations having a plurality of operational sequences for the control circuit 5 of the inverter type high voltage generator 1, and a test condition determining means 25 to set a plurality of test conditions for every sequence for the test operation defining means 24.
