PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of simplifying the manufacturing process. SOLUTION: A header tank 120 has two protruding parts 112 to form a fitting recessed part 113 having a width W1 between the protruding parts 112. A bracket 130 has a fitting projection part 131 at an end thereof, and the projection part 131 is formed so that its width W2 is slightly larger than W1. The bracket 130 is temporarily fixed to the header tank 110 by press-fitting the projection part 131 to the fitting recessed part 113, and then mounted thereon by brazing. Accordingly, caulking is not required for the temporary fixing of the bracket 130, and even if another part is assembled in the vicinity thereof, the bracket 130 can be easily temporarily fixed.
