PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the corrosion of a can body of a boiler by a feedwater feed device for feeding the deaerated water to a steam boiler. SOLUTION: A deaerated water tank 3 is composed of a first storage chamber 7 for introducing the raw water, and a second storage chamber 9 communicated with the first storage chamber 7, the deaerated water created in a deaeration device 2 in stopping a feedwater pump 5, is supplied to the first storage chamber 7 through the second storage chamber 9 to be stored in the first storage chamber 7 and the second storage chamber 9, further the deaerated water of the second storage chamber 9 and the deaeration device 2 is fed to the can body 4 in operating the feedwater pump 5, and a volume of the second storage chamber 9 is determined to a degree approximately same as the amount of water retained in the can body 4.
