A control panel (10) has a recess (16) for accommodating electrical components, covered with a detachable cover (14). The cover has a silver coil to reflect the light radiated from an existing light source, in order to illuminate the components. An inside of the cover is equipped with a reflecting layer so that light from an existing light source in the vehicle is reflected into the recess so as to illuminate the electrical components. An independent claim is included for passenger vehicle assembly.
