Circuit board has a communication circuit (11) which communicates with an external device (19) without using wires, and a storage unit (18). The communication circuit receives information about materials used in the circuit board when information is sent from the external device and the information is stored in the storage unit. The circuit board has a multilayered substrate having alternating layers of resin films and conducting patterns.
