<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for connecting a pipe body in which connecting work can be easily and quickly executed by reducing the number of components. <P>SOLUTION: The method for connecting the pipe body has following characteristics. A notch part 3, in which the other connection side end part of a pipe 1 can enter, is formed to one connection side end part of the pipe 1. It is so constituted that recessed parts 1A, 1A and protruded parts 1B, 1B are continuously formed in a state that both connection side end parts are entered each other. A seal material 9, which is provided with a trough filling part having a longer length than one round to continuously fill the recessed part 1A at the connection side end part, is used. After covering gaps to be generated between the notch parts 3, 3 by making the seal material 9 to enter into the recessed part 1A, both connection side end parts are connected with each other in a seal processed state by fastening a connection member covering the pipe 1 from the external side together with the seal material 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
