PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle apparatus for informing a user about a time capable of making communication with an access point while a vehicle is driven so as to enable the user to grasp the time capable of making communication with the access point. SOLUTION: The on-vehicle apparatus includes: a path searching section for searching the path of the vehicle; a storage section for storing positional information of the access point and the communication available range of the access point; an arithmetic section for calculating the communication available time with the access point on the basis of the vehicle velocity and the geographical relation between the path and the communication available range; and a communication state notifying section for notifying the user of the information on the communication available time.
