PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an agricultural and horticultural bactericidal composition having an excellent controlling effect on plant blights (especially for rice blast). SOLUTION: This agricultural and horticultural bactericidal composition is characterized by containing (a) (RS)-2-cyano-N-[(R)-1-(2, 4-dichlorophenyl)ethyl]-3, 3-dimethylbutanamide and (b) at least 1 kind selected from the group consisting of N-(3-chloro-4-methylphenyl)-4-methyl-1, 2, 3-thiadiazole-5-carboxylamide and S-methyl-1, 2, 3-benzothiadiazole-7-carbothio-S acid ester as active ingredients, and a method for controlling the plant blights by using the same composition is provided.
