PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry paint film to be applied to parts. SOLUTION: This invention relates to the dry paint film to be applied to a part, composed of a support material, at least one layer of colored coating layer and, as needed basis, an uppermost layer, in particular a transparent uppermost layer. The coating layer is composed of two layers by this invention. The first layer facing the support material is applied thereon by knife coating, rolling, injection or printing, while a second layer is applied by spraying the coating material on the first layer. This provides an optical effect particularly in an effect finishing, and realizes an optical effect equivalent to a conventional car body coating system in relation to flop of brightness. Preferable application of the dry paint film, therefore, is seen, for example, in a coating department of car body parts composed of a polymer material for automobiles. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
