PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hoist capable of easily switching the power source of a working device between electric operation or the like or manual operation, and being miniaturized in a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A differential gear device 3 is interposed between a driving device 1 and the working device 2 such as a hoist, a hand wheel 6 rotated by a hand chain 5 is disposed in a housing 4 of the differential gear device 3, and a lock pin 7 for freely switching the housing 4 between rotation and stopping is provided.
