IMMORTALIZED NATURAL KILLER CELL LINE

摘要

It is intended to provide an immortalized natural killer cell line sustaining the functions and properties inherent to NK cells, a method of establishing the same, a method of screening a useful substance by using the immortalized natural killer cell line, and a cell vaccine. Natural killer cells isolated from the spleen of a transgenic mouse carrying large T antigen gene of SV40 temperature-sensitive mutant tsA58 transferred thereinto are cultured to thereby establish a cell line which has azurophilic granules in cytoplasm, sustains the capability of inuring target cells without pre-sensitization and/or the capability of injuring target cells coated with an antibody, and is proliferated and activated by interleukin-2.
