<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple latitude driver which is improved in efficiency and downsizing. <P>SOLUTION: This multiple latitude driver is equipped with: a stator 5 which has a contact 8b and generates two or more kinds of vibration in the contact 8b; a rotor 6 which has roughly spherical contact faces 6a and rotates around two or more axes, based on the kinds of vibration generated by the stator 5 in the condition that the contact spherical faces 6a are pressed against the contact 8b; and a pressurizing member 7 which is fixed to the stator 5 and presses the contact spherical face 6a into contact with the contact 8b. The contact spherical face 6a of the rotor 6 is roughly spherical, has a pressing spherical face 6b which is concentric with the contact spherical face 6a and is smaller in diameter than the contact spherical face 6a on the opposite side from the contact spherical face 6a, and is pressed into contact with the contact part 8b by the pressing spherical face 6b being abutted directly and pressed against the pressurizing member 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
