<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical guide wire smoothly inserted into a curved part in the medical guide wire formed by joining two metal wires having different materials. <P>SOLUTION: An insertion part 2 is composed of a metal wire having superior deformability and an introduction part 3 is composed of a metal wire having superior torque transmission performance.
