<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain good operability even in the case an image forming apparatus is installed in a small place by supporting the image forming apparatus on a placing table, and then, turning the operation side to the front side at the maintenance etc. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is supported through the placing table 10, and the image forming apparatus is arranged so as to rotate on the placing table 10 by taking the vertical axis of the pivotally supporting member 20 arranged at the center part of the placing table 10. In order to control the rotation of the apparatus, a locking means is arranged at the position of 90° so as to easily stop/position the apparatus after rotating the apparatus, then, the operator can easily stop the rotation of the apparatus after turning the necessary side to the front side, thereafter, the operator can handle the sheets and perform a maintenance work. Thus, the rotating mechanism for the apparatus is simplified, and the apparatus which can be easily rotated by the operator is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
