INPUT DEVICE AND INPUT SIGNAL PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with a wrong operation more appropriately in an input device for receiving a rotating operation and a pushing operation.

SOLUTION: A jog device 10 generates rotation signals in response to a rotating operation and generates push signals in response to a pushing operation. A rotation counter 20 counts the rotation signals. A push counter 30 counts the push signals. If rotation signals and push signals are generated within a predetermined time, a pulse canceler 15 cancels the push signals. A pulse canceler may be provided to cancel the rotation signals according to conditions.
