PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet-embedded motor which is high in motor efficiency and in productivity. SOLUTION: A rotor 4 comprises a rotor core 10 which is obtained by compression molding magnetic fine particles coated with an insulating film, and a plurality of plate-like magnets 11 buried in the rotor core 10. The magnets 11 are housed in a plurality of housing holes 12 formed in proximity to the periphery of the rotor core 10 at equal angular intervals. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
