PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flowmeter capable of using backup data located in an another storage area group even if the data recorded in one storage area group of a nonvolatile storage element are partially broken. SOLUTION: In this flowmeter, the integrated value of the measured data is periodically stored in the nonvolatile storage element 6, so that the integrated values of the data can be read from the storage element 6 and set as the internal data when power source voltage is temporarily lowered by an abnormality of power source or the like and then restored. The storage element 6 has a plurality of sets of storage area groups 6A and 6B, and the integrated value of the same data is serially written in the storage area groups 6A and 6B according to a fixed writing order.
