PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To tightly attach an end plate of a filter element to a gasket. SOLUTION: The filter element 1 has a filter material 3 formed in a cylindrical shape, the end plate 4 holding the filter material 3, and a gasket 5 disposed so as to enclose an opening hole 6 of the end plate 4. A plurality of grooves 4a concentrically enclosing the opening hole 6 are formed on the outside surface of the end plate 4, a plurality of projecting parts 5a corresponding to the plurality of grooves 4a formed on the end plate 4 are formed on the attached surface with the end plate 4 of the gasket 5, and the plurality of grooves 4a of the end plate 4 and the plurality of projecting parts 5a of the gaskets 5 are respectively allowed to be fitted and attached.
