PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for deciding the unit weight of a slab in a continuously cast material which is decided by combining so as to unify the plurality of slabs into one and searching the optimum combined pattern based on a pre-decided order plan. SOLUTION: A taboo searching method for confirming what the searched combining pattern does not coincide with taboo, in the case of indicating the combined patterns till a prescribed number of times at former time to this time as the taboo, is applied.
