<p>Fish cartilage is enzymatically treated to extract proteins. Then the obtained solution is filtered and an alcohol is added to the filtrate to thereby precipitate sodium chondroitin sulfate. The sodium chondroitin sulfate thus produced is usable as a starting material for producing, for example, drugs, quasi drugs, medicinal additives, cosmetics and food additives. Fish cartilage is enzymatically treated to extract proteins. Then the obtained solution is filtered and the filtrate is dried to thereby give a material containing chondroitin sulfate. The material containing chondroitin sulfate thus produced is usable as a starting material for producing, for example, cosmetics and food additives.</p> |
