TWO-OPTICAL RING OPTICAL FIBER NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide structure of a ring optical network capable of saving the costs for constituting each node.

SOLUTION: In the ring optical network including many nodes linked with a first and second optical fibers, each node includes a first separation part 210 for separating a protection channel from an optical signal progressing to the first optical fiber, a first ad/drop part 220 for implementing channel ad/drop to the optical signal passing through the first separation part, a first switch part 230 for connecting the protection channel with the first optical fiber when no link failure between adjacent nodes exists and for connecting the protection channel with the second optical fiber when link failure exists between adjacent nodes and a control part 270 for recognizing any link failure of the optical fiber and for outputting a control signal for restoration.
