PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photograph vending machine capable of providing a photograph where the background desired by a user is used. SOLUTION: The photograph vending machine is equipped with a plurality of curtains 24, that is, a curtain to which a pattern consisting of a pattern part and a transparent and colorless part is applied and a curtain to which coloring consisting of one color or a plurality of colors is applied and which is not transparent as the background 2 of the automatic photograph vending machine in order to take the photograph where the background desired by the user 9 is used. The photograph vending machine accepts a selected result on the pattern and the coloring from the user 9 and controls a take-up device 25 so that the patterned curtain 24 and the colored curtain 24 are installed in a housing 3.
