PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the driving circuit of a display device and a liquid crystal display in which the circuit scale is small, a high-quality image is displayed, and the display gradation can be freely varied. SOLUTION: The digital-analog conversion is carried out by re-distributing charges between capacitances in the primary side and in the secondary side. Moreover, at least either the primary side or the secondary side is provided with a plurality of capacitances to make fast conversion and definite output of a potential to signal lines possible. Further, the input capacitance is increased in an output circuit to realize output of the signal potential not influenced by fluctuation in the characteristics of a TFT or an inverter.
