COATED PAPER FOR PRINTING USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide coated paper for printing use excellent in high-speed operability, whiteness, white paper glossiness and surface strength using a wet-ground pigment comprising calcium carbonate with specified specific surface area. SOLUTION: The coated paper for printing use is such that a coating layer comprising the pigment and an adhesive is provided on a base paper, wherein the pigment is such as to be compounded with 30-100 wt.% of precipitated calcium carbonate light adjusted to 16-30 m2/g in BET specific surface area by wet grinding.
