PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen apparatus having the functions of dilution water suitable for a centrifugal type screen rotated on the inside of the screen apparatus. SOLUTION: This screen apparatus A comprises a tank 1 which has a paper raw material entrance 1c, a screened paper raw material exit 1d, and a foreign matter exit 1e and receives the paper raw material, a cylindrical screen 2 which is fixed to the inside of the tank 1 to divide the inside of the tank 1 into the primary chamber 1a and the secondary chamber 1b, and a stirring member 3 which is rotatably supported on the inside of the screen 2 to stir the paper raw material. The paper raw material entrance 1c and the foreign matter exit 1e face the primary chamber 1a, and the screened paper raw material exit 1d faces the secondary chamber 1b. The screen 2 has members R having openings X facing the primary chamber 1a and the secondary chamber 1b. Water supply passage members 6 each communicating with the opening X facing the secondary chamber 1b and having a water supply passage 6a for supplying water into the primary chamber 1a are disposed in states penetrated the tank 1.
