PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washable product of leathers, enabling the leather product such as a product of leathers and a sewn product of the leathers to be washed readily at home; and to provide a method for processing the leathers to provide the washable product. SOLUTION: An aqueous emulsion dilution of a synthetic resin for the leather, obtained by mixing and stirring a combination of one or more kinds of an aqueous emulsion dilution of an acrylic, urethane-based, butadiene-based, vinylic, phenolic, urea-based, melamine-based or polyester-based synthetic resin, with water is coated on the split leather-side surface of the original fabric of leathers of mouton, lambs, mink, rabbit, fox or the like, or a sewn product obtained by cutting the original fabric of the leathers into an arbitrary shape and optionally sewing the cut product to allow the aqueous emulsion dilution of the synthetic resin for the leather to penetrate into the split leather layer, a net-shaped layer and a thread for sewing. Water content is evaporated from the resultant product at a low temperature or a normal temperature to dry the product and to provide the product of the leathers in a state in which the split leather layer, the net-shaped layer and the thread for the sewing are impregnated with the synthetic resin for the leather in the method for processing the product of the leathers. The product of the leathers in a state in which the split leather layer, the net-shaped layer and the thread for the sewing are impregnated with the synthetic resin for the leather is also provided.
