PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stirrer for a foodstuff, with which heat transfer to the foodstuff is effectively carried out without changing qualities of the foodstuff in the stirrer, the foodstuff during stirring is continuously stirred without stopping the stirring when heated or cooled and which is relatively compact and has excellent stirring workability. SOLUTION: In the stirrer for the foodstuff equipped with a base plate 4, strut parts 5 standing from the rear end of the base plate 4, a head part 6 projected from the upper parts of the strut parts 5 forward, a stirring shaft 7 extended from the head part 6 downward and a support arm 8 of a liftable stirring container 10 projected to the front of the strut parts 5, a pipe body 20 having an injection hole 21 for injecting a fluid to the outer bottom of the stirring container 10 and a funnel-like receiver 3 for recovering the injected fluid are installed below the support arm 8. A feed pipe 20 for feeding the fluid from a tank 2 is connected to the pipe body 20. A return pipe 24 for returning the fluid to the tank 2 is connected to the funnel-like receiver 3.
